Men's Fashion trend

Men's fashion trends are greatly different to women's. They exist, yes. But their cycle moves much slower. Nowhere is that truer then of men's suit trends. While there are distinct styles of suits that feature among 2011's fashion trend I should note from the get-go that they're not unique to the year - in fact, many of the key looks you'll find in this guide will still be in-fashion come 2012 and beyond.
Which is a great thing - it means you can afford to spend more on a suit thus buying a quality piece of workmanship that you'll still be able to wear for many a year to come. The same can't be said of most fashion trends.
When we first started collating the fashion trends of spring / summer 2011, the season was way off on the horizon. Now the very 2011 fashion trend that comprise the guide are in full swing, or at least much closer to hitting our wardrobes than they once were. Naturally, as 2011 rolls on, we'll continue to update fashioner with new information, and more importantly new inspiration, for spring 2011's trends and how to wear them

Philippine fashion week 2011

The Premiere A leg of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011 shone and sparkled in all sorts of persuasions courtesy of designers Kristel Yulo, Michele Sison, and Roland Lirio. Sequins and fussy beadwork made a glitzy appearance in all but one of the collections (with the sporty and street Ralph Ng as the exception), presaging a season chock-full of glitteringly garbed women
Kristel Yulo presented a lineup of her usual cocktail- and floor-length dresses in her usual feminine, very wearable style. Her golden dresses that are geometrically embellished with bugle beads are a standout, as well as her lime green and gray chiffon confections, which we can see on the some of the "it" girls in the party circuit.
Michele Sison collaborated with Jun Jun Ablaza for her show, presenting a slew of both casual and dressy pieces cut from one-tone, animal and floral print fabrics heavily accessorized by Jun Jun's extravagant ornamentations of feathered headdresses, cuffs, and neckpieces, and even animal hides slung across the models' shoulders. Tim YapMarco Lobregat, and Carla Abellana walked the show

philippine fashion week Summer\Spring 2011

Freego, a popular clothing brand in the Philippines known for their jeans, showcased their latest collection last October 28 at the SM Mall of Asia. Having predicted trends for this upcoming spring/summer 2011 season, the brand focused on their ‘Aviator’ theme. Reminiscent from the 1920’s, their ensembles consisted mostly of their trademark denims–shorts, jeans, and pedal pushers–mixed up with airforce jackets, crafty headgear, and plaid shirts, which re-created the whole look, giving it a modern twist.
What I particularly liked about the collection is the versatitlity of the Aviator jacket, which is so casually wearable with anything. Just throw in a shirt, some narrow skinny jeans and you’re good to go. Pairing it with tan calf boots (or any type of shoes for that matter) wouldn’t look bad either, along with those Aviator sunglasses that you used a couple of years ago.
Also, what’s great about this collection was the fact that everything looks so laid-back, yet clean and chic at the same time. You can wear this to a movie night with your friends, or to random places to de-stress and unwind. Layering is also a nice look with the plaid shirts. You can wear them as many ways as you want: buttoned, unbuttoned, tucked, untucked, whatever mood you’re in that day.I have to hand it to Freego for putting up a remarkable  show that night and for providing me with ideas on what to shop for next season! Based on what i have read in candy mag.

Though 2011 will see us move but still further from the economic woes of  the recent history, we should not  expect a massive change in fashion trends: the major excesses of the last decade are gone, and 2011 will see us, rightfully, continue on with a drive of subtle consumption mixed with obvious quality. 2011 fashion trends will accomodate the fact that we'll be buying less but spending more.
